The Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX) softball routed the host Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 26. Hudson will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Porter (Porter, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Shepherd moves to 5-4 on the season. The Pirates host MacArthur (Houston, TX) to encounter the Generals in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 26.
