February 25, 2022: Merced, CA 95348 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) and the host El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA), saw Central's volleyball squad beat El Capitan by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, February 25. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Gauchos now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host McLane for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1. El Capitan will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Madera (Madera, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-2.
