The Neshoba Central Rockets routed the host Vicksburg Gators basketball team by a final score of 97-76 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rockets face the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 1. Neshoba Central will attempt to move on its 31-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 16-3 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS).

With the defeat, Vicksburg moves to 20-7 on the year.
