February 25, 2022: Marietta, GA 30062 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), saw Walton's soccer squad triumph over Kennesaw Mountain by a count of 5-0.
The Raiders now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marietta for a AAAAAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, March 1. Walton will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Kennesaw Mountain drops to 3-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to meet the Greyhounds in a AAAAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, March 1. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 5-4. Pope lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
