In Friday's non-league contest, the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ), by a margin of 14-0.

With the triumph, Desert Vista moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Thunder travel to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ) to play the Falcons in a non-league contest on Friday, February 25. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Catalina Foothills lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Eastwood (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Red Wolves play the Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 1. Walden Grove will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Riverside (El Paso, TX).
