February 25, 2023: Jamestown, TN 38556 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) and the visiting Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN), saw York Institute's basketball squad overcome Cannon County by a tally of 60-50.
With the victory, York Institute improves its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Westmoreland (Westmoreland, TN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 22-7. Westmoreland won 59-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Monterey (Monterey, TN)
