February 25, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92704 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), saw Calvary Chapel's volleyball squad nip Portola by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Calvary Chapel upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 26. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sunny Hills won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Portola (Irvine, CA)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sunny Hills for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Portola will play a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-1.
