IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Windermere Wolverines (Windermere, FL), 11-8 in a non-league battle.

The Ascenders now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Palm Harbor University for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. IMG Academy will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Clearwater, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL) in a 2A D5 battle, on Wednesday, March 1. Windermere will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Blue Darters come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 15-2 league loss to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL).
