Texas High School Softball - Alief Elsik holds off Eisenhower
February 25, 2023: Houston, TX 77411 Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 14-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pearland for a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Alief Elsik will face a Oilers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over HCYA (Houston, TX). The Oilers record now stands at 14-0.
With the loss, Eisenhower falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Nimitz (Houston, TX) to face the Cougars in a 6A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-4.
