February 25, 2023: Diboll, TX 75941 Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Lumberjacks now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Little Cypress-Mauriceville for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Diboll will face a Bears squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Bears record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Bridge City falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hardin-Jefferson lost 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX)
