Texas High School Softball - Riesel bounces Gholson
February 25, 2023: Riesel, TX 76682 Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Gholson (Waco, TX), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a 1A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Riesel will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Bremond (Bremond, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Gholson falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The travel to Blum (Blum, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
