Texas High School Softball - Pleasant Grove holds off New Diana
February 25, 2023: Texarkana, TX 75503 The Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) softball the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX), 5-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Mavericks go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Marshall held off King (Kingsville, TX), 9-1, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hooks for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. New Diana will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 8-2.
