The San Gabriel Matadors baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Huntington Park Spartans to 6 in the Matadors non-league win on Tuesday.

The Matadors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morningside for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26. San Gabriel will play a Monarchs team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Huntington Park drops to 2-2 on the year. The Spartans host Mendez (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, February 28.
