In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars basketball team scored a big 51-12 triumph over the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats.

The Jaguars (20-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE). The Panthers go into the D1 District 5 contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Bancroft-Rosalie smashed Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE), 56-27, in a league contest.
