February 25, 2025: Washington, GA 30673 The Washington-Wilkes Tigers soccer team (Washington, GA), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league match with the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA)
With the triumph, Elbert County moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to meet the Storm in a 1A D-I Region 8 match on Tuesday, March 4. The Storm come into the match with a record of 2-3.
The Tigers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln County for a 1A D-II Region 8 match on Friday, February 28. Washington-Wilkes will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Thomson (Thomson, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-2.
