The Oakdale Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Merced Bears softball squad by a count of 21-11 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Oakdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Gustine (Gustine, CA).

The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Le Grand (Le Grand, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Le Grand was routed by Atwater (Atwater, CA), 23-5, in a non-league challenge.
