Georgia High School Soccer - Jefferson County toppled by Oglethorpe County
February 25, 2025: Lexington, GA 30648 Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oglethorpe County advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Hart County (Hartwell, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-2. Hart County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Rabun County (Tiger, GA)
The Warriors now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Swainsboro for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Jefferson County will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
