Georgia High School Soccer - New Hampstead toppled by Woodville-Tompkins
February 25, 2025: Savannah, GA 31419 Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Woodville-Tompkins moves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Long County (Ludowici, GA) to clash with the Blue Tide in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Blue Tide come into the test with a record of 3-2. Long County lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA)
The Phoenix now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a 4A Area 1 battle on Friday, February 28. New Hampstead will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-0.
