West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, West Charlotte upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions host Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wolves in a non-league game on Monday, March 3. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 0-2.

The Greenwave now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Highland Tech for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26.
