February 25, 2025: Hemphill, TX 75948 The Hemphill Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Center Roughriders to 2 in the Hornets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Hemphill will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Center moves to 3-5 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27.
