In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting French Settlement Lions baseball team scored a close 8-6 win over the Pine Raiders.

The Lions now hold a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River for a non-league test on Friday, February 27. French Settlement will play a Rebels team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Pine drops to 2-6 on the year. The Raiders host Slidell (Slidell, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, February 27. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-6. Slidell won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Private (Baker, LA)
