The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) and the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), observed Pasco's softball team prevail over Anclote by a tally of 19-1.

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Buccaneers go into the 4A District 9 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Gulf was routed by Dunedin (Dunedin, FL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

The Sharks now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Tarpon Springs for a 3A District 11 contest on Wednesday, March 4. Anclote will face a Spongers squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Spongers record now stands at 1-4.
