Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Higley upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to McClintock (Tempe, AZ) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Monday, February 28. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 0-3. McClintock lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ)

With the defeat, Mountain Pointe falls to 1-2 on the season. The Pride host Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 1. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Pinnacle won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)
