California High School Volleyball - Saugus tips El Modena
February 26, 2022: Saugus, CA 91350 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Saugus's volleyball squad nip El Modena by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Centurions travel to Valencia (Valencia, CA) to play the Vikings in a Foothill bout on Tuesday, March 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Valencia lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)
The Vanguards now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Foothill for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. El Modena will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-1.
