February 26, 2022: San Angelo, TX 76903 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) and the visiting Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX), saw Lake View's softball squad nip Alpine by a count of 8-1.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Early for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1. Lake View will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-2.
