Texas High School Softball - Claude bounces Tulia
February 26, 2022: Tulia, TX 79088 Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Texas for a 2A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, March 5. Claude will battle a Comanches squad coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Tulia falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Petersburg (Petersburg, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league game on Thursday, March 3. The Buffaloes come into the game with a record of 0-2. Petersburg lost 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Sudan (Sudan, TX)
