February 26, 2022: Corpus Christi, TX 78415 Deer Park Deer (Deer Park, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Deer now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brazoswood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26. Deer Park will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Waller (Waller, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, London falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Carroll won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX)
