Alabama High School Softball - Luverne bounces Elba
February 26, 2022: Luverne, AL 36049 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Luverne Tigers (Luverne, AL) and the visiting Elba Tigers (Elba, AL), witnessed Luverne's softball squad tip Elba by a count of 9-3.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Pike County for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1. Luverne will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Elba moves to 1-4 on the season. The Tigers host Carroll (Ozark, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-7. Carroll lost 16-8 in their recent non-league match against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL)
