The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions crushed the visiting Highland Prep Honey Badgers baseball team by a count of 18-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tonopah Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. St. John Paul II Catholic will face a Phoenix team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Phoenix Country Day (Paradise Valley, AZ). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-2.
