Minnesota High School Basketball - Willmar overwhelmed by Lakeview
February 26, 2024: Cottonwood, MN 56229 The Lakeview Lakers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Willmar Cardinals to 51 in the Lakers non-league victory on Monday.
The Lakers now sport a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wabasso for a A Section 3 contest on Thursday, February 29. Lakeview will battle a Rabbits team coming off a 95-51 league loss to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Rabbits record now stands at 6-21.
The Cardinals (5-26) will now prepare for their contest against Rocori (Cold Spring, MN). The Spartans come into the AAA Section 8 contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, Rocori triumphed over St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN), 87-85, in a league contest.
