February 26, 2024: Lake Orion, MI 48360 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) and the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), saw Lake Orion's basketball squad wallop Lutheran Northwest by a count of 68-44.
With the victory, Lake Orion upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI) to play the Cougars in a Oakland - Red challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Stoney Creek lost 78-16 in their recent league challenge against West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI)
Next up, the Crusaders play the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Lutheran Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Eaglets come into the challenge with a 21-0 record after their 45-31 non-league win over Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI).
