The Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) basketball nipped the visiting River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA), 65-62 in Monday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Forest Hills (Sidman, PA). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 23-3 record. In their last test, Forest Hills got by Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 60-47, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 19-7 record.
