The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse tipped the host Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), 14-13 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sabres travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 28. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Porter Ridge lost 19-0 in their recent non-league outing against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
