Louisiana High School Softball - Delcambre bounces West St. Mary
February 26, 2024: Delcambre, LA 70528 Delcambre Panthers (Delcambre, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA), 16-1 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jeanerette for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. Delcambre will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, West St. Mary falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA) to battle the in a 2A District 8 challenge on Thursday, February 29. The enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
