Louisiana High School Softball - Evangel Christian Academy holds off Lakeside
February 26, 2024: Sibley, LA 71073 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Shreveport, LA) and the host Lakeside Warriors (Sibley, LA), witnessed Evangel Christian Academy's softball squad tip Lakeside by a count of 11-9.
The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Logansport for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. Evangel Christian Academy will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Beekman Charter (Bastrop, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Lakeside moves to 3-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to North Webster (Springhill, LA) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 28. The Knights go into the match with a record of 3-2. North Webster lost 17-4 in their recent non-league match against Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA)
