February 26, 2025: Blairsville, GA 30512 The Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) baseball got by the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rabun County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. Union County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Lumpkin County drops to 6-1 on the year. The Indians travel to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. North Forsyth lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Pope (Marietta, GA)
