In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Hurricane Redskins basketball team scored a good 77-68 triumph over the Lincoln Cougars.

The Redskins (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights go into the Mountain State contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Cabell Midland topped Capital (Charleston, WV), 71-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten contest, on Thursday, February 27. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 72-45 non-league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV).
