The Winooski Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Springfield Cosmos to 49 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Vergennes for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Winooski will confront a Commodores team coming off a 49-29 non-league win over Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Commodores record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Springfield falls to 10-11 on the campaign.
