In Wednesday's non-league test, the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) softball squad the visiting Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), by a tally of 4-1.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 28. Northern Guilford will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Phoenix go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 7-4 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC).

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Southwest Guilford held off Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 14-4, in a non-league test.
