Louisiana High School Softball - Mt. Carmel bounces Slidell
February 26, 2025: Slidell, LA 70458 The Mt. Carmel Cubs softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Slidell Tigers to 2 in the Cubs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cubs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walker for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Mt. Carmel will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Albany (Albany, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Slidell moves to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers host Holden (Holden, LA) to encounter the Rockets in a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Holden won 15-8 in their recent non-league battle against Covington (Covington, LA)
