The North Mecklenburg Vikings softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Olympic Trojans to 1 in the Vikings non-league win on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashbrook for a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. North Mecklenburg will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 22-12 non-league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Olympic moves to 0-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28.
