In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting MacArthur Brahmas baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Canyon Cougars.

The Brahmas (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Tivy was edged by Rouse (Leander, TX), 6-0, in a non-league match.
