In Thursday's non-league bout, the South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) baseball squad trounced the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), by a count of 19-2.

The Jaguars now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marcos de Niza for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 27. South Mountain will clash with a Padres team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 2-0.
