Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), 8-0 in a non-league test.

The Cougars now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to United for a non-league test on Saturday, February 28. Crosby will play a Longhorns team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-4.
