The Wharton Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 21 points and limited the host Durant Cougars to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Robinson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 4. Wharton will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 19-5 non-league loss to Sickles (Tampa, FL). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Durant falls to 0-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL) to confront the Bulls in a 2A D7 match on Tuesday, March 3. The Bulls enter the match with a record of 1-3. Bloomingdale lost 20-2 in their recent non-league match against Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL)
