The Banning Pilots overwhelmed the host Peninsula Panthers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pilots meet the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Banning will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to San Pedro (San Pedro, CA).

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Mary Star of the Sea was routed by South (Torrance, CA), 12-3, in a non-league battle.
