The Mountain View Toros softball squad (Mesa, AZ), was routed 9-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ)

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Desert Mountain gained a win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Toros battle the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 26. Mountain View will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Highland (Gilbert, AZ).
