The Lamar Vikings softball squad (Arlington, TX), was routed 22-1 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX)

The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, Ferris knocked off Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX), 10-7, in a non-league bout.
