In Thursday's non-league match, the host Walnut Mustangs softball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Rowland Raiders.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Conquerors go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Los Altos gained a win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA), 5-2, in a non-league match.

Next, the Raiders play the Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 4. Rowland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
