The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), saw Monte Vista's lacrosse team achieve victory over Castle Park by a margin of 7-3.

The Monarchs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen enter the Grossmont challenge with a 1-0 record.
